Gwyneth Talks About Pal Madonna At Two Lovers Premiere
Last night the London Film Festival had the glamorous Gwyneth Paltrow as a guest, thanks to her new movie Two Lovers being screened to an industry audience as part of the event. She costars with Joaquin Phoenix and Vinessa Shaw in the Brooklyn-set romantic drama, but last night the focus was on her words about her famous friend Madonna. In regards to Madonna and Guy's split, Gwyneth said:
"She's a very good friend.
Gwyneth Promotes Whilst Mark Parties With Diddy In Cannes
The premieres, press conferences and parties continued in full force at Cannes yesterday. Gorgeous Jim Sturgess promoted his future movie Heartless with co-star Clemence Poesy at a photocall, and Monica Bellucci and Jackie Chan were also both out separately during the day promoting their latest projects. As always the evening injected a little more glamour into proceedings, with the Two Lovers premiere attended by star Gwyneth Paltrow (on Valentino's arm) and Diddy.

Coldplay performed a mammoth set of their hits, plus an acoustic version of "Billie Jean" where they were joined by Simon Pegg who played the harmonica, and Jay-Z came back out for "Lost".

Gwyneth Grabs a Cab While Chris Chills Down Under
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were full of smiles yesterday, even though they're separated by continents. Chris, who is in Sydney for Coldplay's tour of Australia, has denied any rivalry with U2 by calling their album "f*****g brilliant", and Bono has since apologised for calling Chris a "w****r", saying it was meant tongue-in-cheek. Meanwhile, lifestyle guru Gwyneth enjoyed dinner with friends at Cipriani.
Sugar Bits — Lindsay's Arrest Warrant Quashed
- Lindsay Lohan's arrest warrant has beeen quashed, after a lawyer for the 22-year-old presented evidence to show that she had kept to her rehabilitation programme. The warrant was issued last week over claims she violated the terms of her parole for drink driving and drug offences in 2007. — BBC

Willa, Colin And Elizabeth Bring Genova To London
A selection of cast members of Michael Winterbottom's new movie Genova walked the red carpet at the London Film Festival last night including Willa Holland (who you may remember as Kaitlyn Cooper in The OC), Colin Firth and Elizabeth Banks. The movie is about a man who moves his two daughters to Italy after their mother dies in a car accident, in order to revitalise their lives and their new setting changes each of them in different ways. On the red carpet Colin said of the movie: "I'm a dad, it's about a dad.
