Emily Blunt and Sarah Ferguson left the front rows of New York and swapped fashion for film at the premiere of The Young Victoria. The Brits were joined at the Toronto Film Festival by Sarah's daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, as well as Emily's costar Rupert Friend. Emily didn't have her new fiance by her side, as John Krasinski was living it up in Los Angeles at the Emmy Awards, and unlike the London premiere Keira Knightley didn't join Rupert, so the gorgeous costars kept each other company on the red carpet.

Between the VMAs, Fashion Week, and the impending Emmys, it's been one busy week. In the midst of all the craziness, however, we don't want to forget about you, Toronto Film Festival. Over the course of the past eight days or so, we've seen Drew up the ante with her black-tipped hair, which was undoubtedly the most memorable hairstyle of the festival.

Natalie Portman headed to Canada yesterday to join the fun at the Toronto Film Festival. She went casual in a white top in the afternoon for a press conference promoting her film Love and Other Impossible Pursuits, which we saw her filming last year back when it was called 17 Photos of Isabel. By evening Natalie was decked out in a pink Lanvin number to join costar Lisa Kudrow for a red carpet premiere.

Natalie Portman hit the red carpet in Toronto last night as she promoted her latest movie Love and Other Impossible Pursuits alongside Lisa Kudrow. The gorgeous actress initially braved the cold Canadian air in a strapless frock (like so many others at the MTV VMAs earlier in the week), but soon sort warmth in a jacket lent to her by TV presenter Rick Campanelli. Natalie kept all eyes on her pink floral frock by teaming it with grey peep toe heels.

Over the last couple of days, celebrities have been popping up at Fashion Week and the 2009 Toronto Film Festival with more than a love of cool clothing or a movie premiere in common. From Rachel Bilson to Drew Barrymore, blue and blue-green nails are everywhere. I love that these traditionally warmer-weather shades are making the seasonal transition, and the range of fashionable colors means there are flattering colors and depths of tones for practically every skin tone.

Lisa Kudrow and Natalie Portman brought their colourful outfits to Canada for the premiere of Love And Other Impossible Pursuits at the Toronto Film Festival yesterday. They were joined by costar Scott Cohen for the premiere and press conference for the film, of which Natalie is also an executive producer. It's great to see Lisa making movies again, as she has said TV offers women better roles than film.

Drew Barrymore premiered her directorial debut Whip It this weekend at the Toronto Film Festival, and yesterday she took to a stage to answer questions about the experience along with her cast. Ellen Page stars in the film as a bored teen who joins a roller derby, alongside Eve, Landon Pigg, Juliette Lewis and Drew herself! With a black tipped bob and bright blue fingernails, Drew was looking eyecatching and quirky at the conference — BellaUS wants to know if you love or hate her look — and she talked about her first directorial role, saying:
"I've been producing for 15 years, and it's all been preparing for the big test.

Jennifer Garner attended The Invention of Lying premiere at the TIFF looking quite spectacular in a green tiered dress by Oscar de la Renta dress and Casadei sky-high taupe platform pumps — sizzle. The hue goes great against her brunette locks and I like how metallic silver accessories increase her sparkle. Indeed, this look is quite different from her usual playtime ensembles and I like it!

Yesterday Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Garner and Rob Lowe were in high spirits as the celebrated the first screening of their new film The Invention Of Lying at the Toronto International Film Festival. Jennifer looked stunning in her green dress, while Ricky looked rather relieved after the event, and quite happy with the wine he was drinking! He's taken the role of director as well as star for the first time on this movie, and the premiere screening seemed to go well, with critics receiving the movie warmly.

Jennifer Garner joined her costars Ricky Gervais and Rob Lowe to premiere The Invention of Lying at TIFF yesterday. At the press conference earlier in the day, Jennifer teased Ricky who wrote, directed and acted in the film, for often ruining takes with his loud shrill giggle. Jen also said she's not planning on working with her husband Ben Affleck again, although "life is long" so she's not ruling it out for the future.
