It's the long Easter weekend, and judging by the traffic jams yesterday most of you are driving back to see your families. I guess some of you will be looking for a fun family outing, so I've got a suggestion for you – go and see Dr Seuss tale, Horton Hears A Who.
It rightfully topped the US box office, had the biggest movie opening of 2008 and entertained kids and adults alike.

Judging from its trailer, Horton Hears A Who already looks to be one of the most delightful movies of next year. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the cast list reads like a who's-who of my favorite comedy stars: Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, Jonah Hill, Isla Fisher, and more. The lovable and kindly Horton, an elephant with impeccable hearing, was always one of my favorite Dr.

There is no denying that some real talented people like Forest and Morgan came out for the 5th Annual TV Land Awards but the most talked about thing will be Sharon Stone's heinous hair. Most of you know we love to keep this site friendly and there is a small list of celebs I can't stand. Sharon Stone tops that list.

Classic funny man Harvey Korman passed away last week, and fuzzles reminded me about a dentist sketch from the awesome Carol Burnett Show. Tim Conway is the obvious comedian here, but Harvey Korman's inability to keep a straight face makes it even funnier. What a great comic duo they were!

I love watching "The Carol Burnett Show" re-runs. The show was live, the actors were always cracking each other up, and here, Tim Conway is having a hard time not cracking himself up. Talk about doing a lot with just one prop...

I can't get over the number of new DVD releases hitting shelves this week (I know what I'll be doing Saturday!). Along with these three picks, you also have Charlize Theron in The Burning Plain, Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All by Myself, Downloading Nancy with Maria Bello, and the political satire In the Loop.
The Hurt Locker
A small film with big word-of-mouth buzz, The Hurt Locker was one of the cinematic dark horses of this past year.

"Gird your loins!" Yeah! My favorite quote of last week made it into the opening of SNL last night where Joe Biden and John Murtha attempted to remove their feet from their mouths for certain "crises" and "redneck" statements.

We knew there would be a high level of intensity in last night's episode of The Celebrity Apprentice after last week's cliffhanger. The final four are interviewed by Erin Burnett and Jim Cramer and asked about their respective charities, their performance throughout the show, and why the other candidates aren't deserving of the Celebrity Apprentice title.
Even though Erin and Jim both pick Trace and Carol as their favorites, Donald chooses Piers and Trace to go head to head in the final challenge that will be a celebrity auction.

I remember it well. An interminable summer during my childhood made bearable by retro-television shows. "The Carol Burnett Show."
