Tom Cruise Has an Awesome Day at the Great Wall of China

Tom Cruise broke from his Asian press tour for Oblivion yesterday for a cultural outing.

Tom Cruise broke from his Asian press tour for Oblivion yesterday for a cultural outing. Along with director Joseph Kosinski, Tom visited the Great Wall of China and appeared to have a blast doing so, joking, smiling for pictures, and even breaking into a sprint along the 13,171-mile-long structure.

The hectic pace of the last few days clearly didn't slow Tom down. On Tuesday, he and costar Olga Kurylenko attended a Japanese press conference for Oblivion, the film that was followed by a Wednesday premiere in Tokyo. And yesterday brought yet another red carpet event, this time in Beijing. Tom's hectic promotional pace is mirrored in his movie-making schedule. It was confirmed this week that Tom will take on the role of Ethan Hunt for a fifth time in yet another Mission: Impossible film.

They were joined by their director, Joseph Kosinski, for their Asian press tour, which will also include a premiere in China. Yesterday, Olga donned a Victoria Beckham dress to meet up with Tom at the film's press conference at the Ritz-Carlton in the Japanese capital. She has been happily tweeting about her time in the land of the rising sun, saying, "Just finished presenting the Oblivion premiere in Tokyo. So good to be back in Japan. I love spending time here!" Tom, for his part, has been keeping busy over the past few days despite his Tokyo press tour. On Monday, he announced that Mission: Impossible 5 has been confirmed, and he celebrated the release of Jack Reacher on DVD yesterday. However, Tom and Olga did miss out on a bit of fun earlier this week when they skipped the 2013 Met Gala so they could stick to their press duties abroad.

They'll be back together on the promotional trail next year, since they have All You Need Is Kill coming out in 2014. Until then, Emily had only good things to say about Tom, whom she called "instantly popular," and stuck around to show her support during his interview with Jay. Tom Cruise may be one of the biggest movie stars in the world, but he's always down for a game on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Tom Cruise may be one of the biggest movie stars in the world, but he's always down for a game on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Cruise has already played water war on the show, so this time Fallon upped the ante with a friendly round of egg roulette. The challenge? Pick an egg at random from a carton — it may be hard-boiled, it may be raw — and smash it against your head. I love this clip because Cruise was such a good sport and you can tell Fallon loves his job. It just makes me more excited for Fallon's impending gig on The Tonight Show!

Tom Cruise hugged, chatted, and giggled with his costars at the Oblivion premiere in LA last night. He made a Burberry-wearing Olga Kurylenko crack a smile on the red carpet and later shared a big hug with Andrea Riseborough, who wore a glamorous Elie Saab frock. He also flirted with his fans, who had crowded the Dolby Theatre for a chance to see Tom, who signed autographs and even kissed the hand of one woman. Other stars at the event included Game of Thrones knight Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Melissa Leo, and Morgan Freeman, who spent his time on the red carpet chatting with Olga and Tom while decked out in a tuxedo.

This was Olga's second big premiere in a row as she attended the screening of To the Wonder with costars Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams the previous night. She's had a packed schedule for the past few weeks, traveling the globe with Tom to premiere their film in South America and Europe. While in Germany, news circulated that Tom had commented that he "didn't expect" his divorce from Katie Holmes during an interview on a TV show. However, his rep now reveals that the quotes were entirely fabricated and he didn't address his recent divorce at all. We were on hand at the LA premiere to chat with Tom, Olga, and the rest of the cast — check back for our interviews soon!

Tom Cruise and Olga Kurylenko Tackle a Busy Day For Oblivion

Tom Cruise and his Oblivion costar Olga Kurylenko had a busy one yesterday in Moscow.

Tom Cruise and his Oblivion costar Olga Kurylenko had a busy one yesterday in Moscow. They kicked things off with a morning photocall, to which Olga wore Stella McCartney. Later, Tom and Olga buddied up for a premiere. For the nighttime event, Olga picked a lilac Elie Saab gown. Tom introduced the big-budget film with a few words about wanting to go to Russia. He said, "I was always, you know, pushing the studios to say 'Look, I want to travel, I want to make films in different countries, with different actors.' It's one of the reasons that I started to produce films, because I love movies, but I also wanted to create stories that would allow a multi-cultural experience."

The duo moved on to Russia following a promotional stop in Brazil. Olga and Tom attended the Rio debut of Oblivion, and she apparently greatly enjoyed being there. She tweeted, "I loved Rio! Didn't stay long enough though. But I did have one to have a walk on the beach."
