X-Men: First Class costars Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy were more than happy to chat all about their film, as well as a few more personal topics, during a recent press day in NYC. The guys complimented each other's secret skills, and James even revealed one downside to being a world-renowned heartthrob. Michael, meanwhile, took off his cap to flaunt his new blond locks, though he admitted that his hair color allegiance is still with the "gingers" of the world. The New X-Men: First Class Trailer Features More Teenage Mutants, Awesomeness

I was already psyched when the original X-Men: First Class trailer debuted, and now that there's a longer preview, my excitement is getting pretty out of control.

I was already psyched when the original X-Men: First Class trailer debuted, and now that there's a longer preview, my excitement is getting pretty out of control. Like the first trailer, we see lots of young Magneto and Professor X (Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy) — but this time, there's an equal focus on the youthful students of Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters.

This means more footage of Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Lucas Till as Havok, and so on. James McAvoy celebrated a friend's birthday at Koi restaurant in Los Angeles last night, looking gorgeous in a black jacket and dark jeans. His X-Men: First Class costar January Jones spent some time yesterday shopping in the city, and both are visible in the new cast photo which includes mutants played by Nicholas Hoult and Zoe Kravitz. James will play a young Charles Xavier in the movie — the older version of the character was played by Patrick Stewart in the first movies.

If you're a fan of the X-Men franchise like we are, then this should be a treat for you: it's the first cast photo from X-Men: First Class! The star-studded cast is all done up as their mutant alter egos for the upcoming prequel, which hits cinemas this June. The film will take us back to meet younger versions of Professor X and Magneto, shedding light on how their friendship deteriorated to what we've seen in the X-Men films. To help keep your mutants straight, I've put together a handy who's who.

Match the actors with their alter egos after the break.
