McKenzie Lynn Tozan lives and writes in North Chicago with her family, where she is a published poet and writer, and Poetry Editor for Muzzle Magazine. She received her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Western Michigan University, and her B.A. in English and B.S. in Education from Indiana University South Bend.

She is, both professionally and passionately, a poet, writer, and book reviewer. Her poems have appeared in Encore Magazine, Sleet Magazine, Rogue Agent, Thank You for Swallowing, Whale Road Review, The James Franco Review, The Birds We Piled Loosely, and Analecta, among others.
