2019's Biggest Nail Art Trends

This Year's Biggest Nail Trends Are SO Easy to Re-Create Yourself

Elevated, vibrant, and surprisingly easy to DIY, this year's biggest nail art trends give us everything we want. With the help of two of our favourite nail pros, we've put together 2019's biggest nail trends. Let celebrity nail artists Miss Pop and Gina Edwards take you through all of the nail art inspiration you'll need this year.

Miss Pop told POPSUGAR that negative space with flow is "adding abstract adornment that is sparse, feels organic, and gives the illusion that it is moving" to the tops of clean, glossy nails. These adornments can be done with many different shapes like flowers, stars, and rainbows. Miss Pop is the mastermind behind the look's appearance at Jeremy Scott and Moschino during NYFW last season.

Pastel metallics will be big for Spring. "Designers have created their 2019 Spring collections to emulate a bit of the '60s with adding a fresh updated twist," Edwards, a KISS Nails ambassador, told POPSUGAR. "Frosted metallics and sheers will start the anticipation for the same on nail trends. I predict that superchic pastels layered with a sheer frost will make a subtle statement for the upcoming season."

"The 3D nail art trend will continue trending through 2019 based on this Cardi B phenomenon, where people want to experiment with more textures on their nails," Edwards said. "[This look] can range from the simplest application of a stone to something more elaborate."
