Let's go back to a simpler era: the 1990s. A Clinton was in the White House. Blockbuster (RIP) was the place to be on a Friday night. It took you approximately 45 minutes to access the internet. You wore hair claws.

If you ask Alexander Wang, that last part is still alive and well. Yes, another decidedly '90s hair accessory has risen from the dead (see: scrunchies, crimpers, et al.). Even though Hair Claw 2.0 resembles something your mum would wear while she ran errands in an Anne Klein trouser suit circa 1997, we're still pretty into it.

This time around, the hair claw is sleeker and larger, which gives it a futuristic feeling. At Wang's show, lead hairstylist and Redken Creative Director Guido Palau paired the gigantic bauble with super-slicked-back hair, which gave the look a nice contrast.

Perhaps the best part of all? Even if you don't have a Fashion Week glam squad to assist you, you already know how to style this accessory. Just like you did on the morning of all your university exams, pull back your strands, twist 'em into a messy bun, and hook away. Meghan Markle would approve. Read on for more hair claw inspo — then go dig yours out from the depths of your vanity drawer.
