Alison Brie Dyed Her Hair for a New Role, and Wow, Is It Different
Alison Brie just dyed her hair blonde for a role in a horror movie — and we hope both the new look and her character survive.
Brie was cast as a lead character in her husband, Dave Franco's The Rental. The film, which will be Franco's directorial debut, was the main reason why Brie went for the lighter hue. She posted a photo of herself with the new hairstyle with the caption, "When your husband asks you to "go blonde" for a role...you say yes," and tagged hairstylist Clarissa Anya.
Though we've seen Brie's hair styled in many different ways — like in curled, choppy layers for her role as Ruth / Zoya the Destroya on Glow and in long, glamorous waves for her character Trudy Campbell on Mad Men — we haven't seen her with this light of a hair colour.
