We promise that Spring is coming soon. As we slouch toward warmer weather, it's time to ditch heavy powder makeup for lighter, creamier options. Since last year's release of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Glow Highlighter [2] ($25), luminizer-lovers the world over have added that shiny little bottle to their vanities.
We love the smooth feel of the lightweight formula — brand President Claudia Soare (aka Norvina) described the highlighter to us [3] as feeling like "second skin." But when the line first launched, it only contained four shades. Luckily, that's all going to change this Summer, with the addition of new Liquid Glows formulated for deeper skin tones.
As Norvina posted on Instagram, "Patina" and "Penny" are the new shades that will hit stores in July. She was also kind enough to give us a sneak peek at the shimmers, which look like absolute heaven.
The first was swept over one model's cheekbones for a glamorous flush, and the second was applied to another's eyelids for a bronzing effect. Because of the liquid consistency, this highlighter can be used all over your body — because why limit that glow to just your face?
