The Aquascutum clothing collection was quite fresh this season, channeling a chic London girl who's cool and young. Perhaps that's why there are a couple of funky and less-conservative pieces in this range than we typically see from the brand. Makeup, however, was quite reminiscent of the past with a soft, smoky natural eye and a simple peach cheek. Lead artist for MAC Lucia Pieroni created a simple style by using Face and Body Foundation and Select Moisture Cover where needed. Brows were brushed up with no colour added, no eyeliner and just a touch of black mascara to curled lashes.
The eyelids had more of a warm feel. Lucia combined two shades of reddish, rusty powder in Swiss Chocolate and Handwritten and blended them so that you couldn't tell where one shade ended and the other began. A bit of highlighter was used on the cheekbones and down the centre of the nose, and cheeks were dusted in a new shade due out next season called Modern Mandarin. Finally, lips were painted in a pale peach mixture of Siss and Peachstock for a finished effect.
Hair was gelled back a bit in the front and on the sides whilst the lengths were pushed behind the shoulder, so that nothing sat on the collarbone. I love the way this beauty look came together to really showcase the clothing. Are you an Aquascutum fan?
