These Beauty Brands Are Fighting Back Against Anti-Abortion Laws

Due to the unjust abortion bans sweeping the country, and most recently after Alabama signed one of the strictest anti-abortion laws in history, it may become nearly impossible for women to get safe abortions by doctors. In addition to Alabama's ban, Missouri, Georgia, and Ohio have all pushed similar bills — and the people behind several beauty brands are just as angry as you are.
Companies like Lipslut, Herbivore, and Lipstick Lobby are donating a portion of its sales to organisations fighting for reproductive freedom. With the products ahead, you can feel good that while you restock your makeup bag or medicine cabinet, you're also helping women around the country secure access to safe health care.
Herbivore
From now until June 16, $5 of all sales of the Herbivore Phoenix Facial Oil ($88) or Phoenix Oil Sets ($26-$98) will be donated to the ACLU's fight against the abortion bans.
Lipslut
Social justice beauty brand Lipslut just announced that it's hosting a reproductive rights fundraiser from now until May 24, in which 100 percent of sales from all products will go toward organisations like Planned Parenthood, NARAL Pro-Choice America, the National Network of Abortion Funds, and the Yellowhammer Fund.

The Lipstick Lobby
Feminist brand The Lipstick Lobby has a pink shade called Kiss My Pink ($19), and 100 percent of its net profits go to Planned Parenthood. Additionally, $5 of every sale of the brand's red lipstick shade Outrage ($19) goes to the ACLU, with a minimum contribution of $10,000.
