Beauty Byte: Quintessentially Awards Luxe Beauty

Quintessentially's USP is to be connoisseurs of luxury, so it makes sense that the concierge group finally set up its own annual luxury awards!

This week marked the first accolade ceremony for the company, hosted by TV's Claudia Winkleman in London.

Big beauty wins included Hermes, which got Perfume House of the The Year (Well deserved) and The Mandarin Oriental Hotel won Best Urban Spa. Meanwhile, the Best International Spa award was given to world-renowned Clinique La Prairie in Switzerland.

Other awards included Womenswear Fashion Designer of the year, which went to Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, and Menswear Fashion Designer of the Year, which went to Tom Ford.

I was lucky enough to attend the evening along with Olivia Inge, Quintessentially co-founder Ben Elliot, Net-a-porter founder Natalie Massenet, and bizarrely enough Keith Duffy from Boyzone! The event was sponsored by the British Virgin Islands and was hosted at London's lavish Freemason's Hall in Covent Garden.

I've always been a fan of The Mandarin Oriental Urban Spa and Hermes fragrances, so it was exciting to see them get celebrated. They're expensive but each is the leader in its field. Do you have a favourite luxury spa or beauty brand?
