Becky G's New ColourPop Collection Is Inspired by Her Latin Roots: "This Has Been a Dream"

05/12/2018 - 03:30 PM

Singer Becky G has collaborated with ColourPop [1] on a new collection, and the entire lineup is gorgeous, vibrant, and inspired by the singer's Latinx roots (she even named it Salvaje, which translates to "Savage" in English).

Sharing the exciting news on Instagram, Becky G wrote: "I'm OBSESSED with every single item and I can't wait to reveal more about each one! The collection is inspired by my strong Latin roots, something I'm obviously SO proud of and I absolutely wanted to focus on that for this collection."

The eight-piece collection comprises an eye shadow palette, two Luster Dust loose highlighters, and a variety of liquid lipsticks. The Pressed Powder Palette ($16) has 12 pigmented shades from Luna (a matte pale peach) to Sangria (a matte dirty burgundy). The Luster Dust ($7) shades are Princesa (a duochrome pink pale gold pink) and Chisme (a pale champagne gold). Finally, the Ultra Matte Liquid Lip ($7) and Ultra Satin Liquid Lip ($7) come in Winter-ready shades like Besame (burnt red) and Secreto (warm caramel). Oh, and by the way, this is the first time ColourPop has collaborated with a musical artist — it's a pretty big deal.

Everything will be available on Dec. 5, and we're already taking inspiration from Becky G's own fierce look [2]. See the Salvaje collection ahead, and make sure to bookmark your favourites.
