It's safe to say 2018 has been an interesting one for the world, and when things are in turmoil, there's a reason sales of designer lipstick go up. We won't dwell on the details, but when times are tough, we lean on more-expensive-than-average body wash, our favourite perfume that we swear boosts confidence, or fake tan products that give us the boost we need to face the day with a smile. No, this doesn't make us vain; it means we're making the best of what we've got, using the little things to keep us going.
