If you find most night creams to be a bit heavy for your skin, try No7 HydraLuminous Overnight Recovery Gel Cream [14] (£10). It sinks into the skin quickly and with no oily residue, but it's chock full of glycerin, meaning it packs a punch when it comes to hydration. This is going straight in my travel bag. — GC

Need to get rid of a spot ASAP? Zitsticka Killa Kit [15] (£27) are patches that use microdarts (trust me, it's not as scary as it sounds) packed with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and salicylic acid to shrink the spot overnight by soothing and fighting inflammation. However, at £27 for 8 cleaning swaps and 8 patches, it's quite expensive, so definitely best saved for the SOS spot moments. — TC
