Just one weekend after Beyoncé pulled off the tour de force Coachella performance that many have called an impossible feat, she did something perhaps more spectacular: made obvious lip liner look good.
The singer and mother took to Instagram to post a series of snapshots taken before her Golden State Warriors basketball game date with husband Jay-Z. She rocked a white ruched Alexander Wang dress, an oversize Calvin Klein puffer coat, strappy Saint Laurent heels, Ray Ban glasses, and XIV Karats hoop earrings. To top it all off, Bey piled her hair into a half-up style, which gave us a view of her makeup look.
She kept her makeup simple, but threw in the added bonus of wearing dark, obvious liner around her lips. While the fresh look may be taken from the final years of the past millennium, Bey kept things modern by smudging the edges to make things look soft. The result? A plush, pillow-esque look that we will shamelessly steal for date nights to come — even if our plebe Tinder dates can't swing courtside Warriors seats.
