The forecast according to Bite Beauty? Hot, hot, hot — on your lips, at least! The brand teased what looks like a spicy version of its cult favourite Amuse Bouche Lipstick, and even though I am the girl who always makes her friends order mild wings, much like the rest of the internet, I cannot contain my excitement.
Though we've no word yet on what the hue looks like exactly, Bite did let us catch a glimpse of its packaging, which appears to show multicoloured piles of spices. The sandy, dusty theme is certainly appropriate for the impending Summer. Maybe, just maybe, this lippie will taste hot too, much like the brand's coveted lip mask [2], which currently comes in five flavours.
Fans are predictably freaking out, with one person writing, "Um — I need these in my life!!" Another mused that each hue might be named after a particular seasoning, such as anis, cardamom, or cinnamon. One eagle-eyed sleuth also thinks that turmeric could be included in the lineup. Either way, fans are curious as hell.
All of Bite's Amuse Bouche offerings contain resveratrol, an antioxidant sometimes found in red wine. This plant-based ingredient contains antiaging properties and can also help protect against environmental stressors on your skin.
