According to dermatologist Deborah Jaliman, it's best to stick to a routine of consistent products leading up to your wedding day, rather than trying anything new. "For people that are acne prone I've seen brides get bad breakouts from new products."

"I recommend that they do this procedure one month before the wedding so that it can be tweaked if necessary and it has time to settle in and if bruises do occur they have time to resolve," Jaliman said.
