The 1 Product Camila Cabello's Makeup Artist Swears By To Give Her That Glow

Ash K. Holm [1] is a makeup artist to the stars, who has created glowing looks for everyone from Ariana Grande [2] to the Kardashian-Jenners. She revealed to POPSUGAR the one product she uses on singer Camila Cabello [3], one of her recent clients, to help lock in her radiant complexion makeup [4].

Holm swears by the CoverFX's new Rose Quartz and Defence Mist (she is a spokesperson for the brand), which she spritzes on before and after makeup to give it that dewy effect and lock in moisture. "It just feels so fresh on the skin, [and using] the elixir mist when you're done with makeup takes away any 'makeup-y' feel that my client may be feeling with the layering of products."

The new product contains hydrating hyaluronic acid [5] and rose water, and Holm noted that she loves how it acts as a shield against pollutants in the air.

To create a glowing skin that lasts all day in the Summer heat, Holm says prepping the skin is key. Aside from the mist, she keeps products from Kiehl's and Elemis in her kit. Read on for her go-to skin prep regimen for her celebrity clients.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturiser

Holm likes to prep her client's skin with the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturiser [6] ($30). "I use a light layer of [the Ultra Facial Moisturiser] because it makes the face nice and moisturised, and it doesn't make skin feel greasy throughout the day," she said. "I don't need a lot of this product. I start with a pea size, warm it up with my hands, and apply it lightly onto the skin."

Elemis Superfood Facial Oil

For her clients with dry skin, she pulls the Elemis Superfood Facial Oil [7] ($55) out of her kit. "I have some clients that are really dry around the nose area, so I use a tiny bit of this oil around on the nose and the mouth," she said.

Cover FX Mattifying Booster Drops

Holm uses the Cover FX Mattifying Booster Drops [8] ($45) on every part of the face except the T-zone, in order to create glowing skin that lasts on hot, humid days. "I typically go for the mattifying or the brightening [drops]," she said.
