Riverdale's Camila Mendes joined curve model Candice Huffine at POPSUGAR Play/Ground on June 22 for a "Power Your Confidence" conversation, and revealed the deeper meaning behind her tattoo.
The ink is located beneath her right breast and is both a nod to Mendes moving around a lot as a kid and also a reminder that her body is her home. "I feel home, that's been like my life motto," Mendes said during the discussion. "I got a tattoo here that says 'to build a home,' which is one of my favourite songs. It partially had to do with moving around a lot as a kid never having a home, but also now . . . building a home within myself."
