Cardi B is a mum now, but she's still the life of the VMAs red carpet. The rapper made her first public appearance since giving birth to baby Kulture and proved that when it comes to hair and makeup, she still dominates the carpet. Cardi swapped her recent braided style for a cropped pixie cut (by Tokyo Stylez) that drew attention to her incredible makeup by Erika La' Pearl.
La' Pearl prepped the skin with Ole Henriksen Balancing Force Oil Control Toner, Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil, and C-Rush Brightening Gel Crème. She then used the Pat McGrath MTHRSHP Subersive Eye Shadow Palette to create a bronzed smoky eye with a pop of purple on Cardi.
La'Pearl told POPSUGAR that when it comes to her glam, Cardi lets her squad express themselves creatively. " We really wanted her look tonight to be poised and elegant," she told us. "We wanted to show sophistication and her maturity as a new mum with Cardi's red carpet look, and dramatic eyes and clean skin was perfect for this glamorous new mum."
