Try Your Hand at Pop Art With Cartoon Eyeliner
This Summer we're moving on from the insane skills of neon liner, and the slightly wacky iridescent eyeliner, to the just as fun but achievable cartoon liner. It came to our attention when Perrie Edwards sported the look, courtesy of makeup artist Adam Burrell. Then, one of our favourite YouTubers, Nikkie Tutorials got in on the action with her take on the fun look.
Nikkie first uses Nyx Vivid Brights Eyeliner in Petal (£6), this colour can be changed depending on what shade you would like your cartoon liner to be, she uses this bold colour to create the main bold cat eye. Then, she takes Blinc Ultrathin Liquid Eyeliner Pencil (£22) and traces around the pink liner. Nikkie notes that this bit is tricky so her best advice is to "take your time, work in stages, and trust yourself." We made need a little practice on this part too. She then goes back in with the pink colour to sharpen up her lines. And there you have it. A bold cat eye with a colourful summery twist!
Scroll on to see how other makeup enthusiasts have interpreted this into looks of their own. I personally love the green liner, which is on trend with emerald makeup for the Summer.
