A red lipstick that celebrates and supports all women? We're in! Elizabeth Arden has just released a limited-edition lipstick as part of a campaign called March On [2]. In partnership with the brand's Storyteller-in-Chief, Reese Witherspoon [3], March On aims to "help women unite and reach their best potential." The campaign aligns with the 100th anniversary of the women's right to vote in the UK and International Women's Day [4]. One hundred percent of proceeds from sales of the limited-edition lipstick [5] (£22) will be donated to UN Women [6] in support of its work to advance women's issues worldwide.

Elizabeth Arden chose to release this limited-edition red lipstick with Reese as it's a "powerful symbol of unity and advocacy." Elizabeth Arden's bright red lipstick was a symbol of liberty during the suffragettes' march on Fifth Avenue, NYC, in 1912, when it was given out to women who were taking part. Red lipstick has been used as a symbol of women's unification, strength, and defiance ever since. The women's vote was very important to Elizabeth Arden, and the brand is still as dedicated today to its philanthropic efforts and women's rights around the world.

The limited-edition lipstick is in the staple shade Red Door Red, inspired by the iconic red doors of Elizabeth Arden salons. The tube (which is usually gold) has been reimagined in red, with Reese Witherspoon's signature inside. The lipstick allows women to feel like the most badass version of themselves (because who doesn't feel better after applying a strong red lip?) while helping an incredible cause. Red Door Red is available now [7] (£22).
