Not only is she mother of the dragons, but she's also the mother of keeping it real. Emilia Clarke picked up the British Artist of the Year award at the BAFTA Los Angeles' annual Britannia Awards gala over the weekend and looked edgy but elegant as usual, showing off her new pixie cut.
But it turns out she wasn't feeling as good as she looked. The Game of Thrones actress wrote on her Instagram, "In this photo I am sick as a dog - but the mad crazy insane skills of @jennychohair and @kateleemakeup make even me question just how high that fever was...." Clarke continued by admitting, "FOR REALS I don't look like this when ill EVER 😂."
We love that Clarke keeps it real when it comes to beauty ideals, because it can be easy to forget that our favourite celebrities have glam teams on speed dial. Makeup artist Kate Lee used Chanel, D&G, Kevyn Aucoin, Bioderma, and Tatcha to keep Clarke looking in tip-top shape.
Clarke then thanked her GoT costars before confessing she's "now presiding over my downstairs loo." Uh-oh.
