Daenerys Targaryen — er, I mean, Emilia Clarke — has a fresh, new look. The 31-year-old star took the hair change plunge, transforming her blond bob hairstyle into a choppy pixie cut, and it looks so cute, we're ready to bend the knee. Clarke debuted her edgy haircut on Instagram, writing, "Me: I'm thinking when Gwyneth and Brad had the same hair cut. @jennychohair: I got 'chu," giving a shout-out to the celebrity hairstylist who orchestrated her trim (and referencing when Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt had eerily similar hairstyles when they dated back in the '90s).
Though her character on Game of Thrones has long, icy-blond hair, Clarke maintained her natural brunette colour until dyeing her hair platinum blond one year ago. Perhaps this pixie cut is her way of bidding adieu to the show and starting fresh? The hit HBO series did just wrap production on its eighth and final season, after all.
