Emily Ratajkowski's dress for the Golden Globes afterparty was surprisingly minimalist and chic this year. The reason? She clearly wanted to let her makeup take the spotlight! The model and actress wore striking pink-red eye makeup, and we want to re-create it immediately. Makeup artist to the stars Hung Vanngo was the master of the look and shared exactly how you can do it at home.
Hung started with Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Super-Charged Oil-Free Foundation in Golden Deep 46 (£24.95) mixed with Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter (£32) to create a flawless, glowing base.
For the playful eye makeup, Hung lined Emily's waterline and upper and lower lash lines with Marc Jacobs Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Fine(wine) (£19); he then took Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Scandalust (£36) and mixed shades They Call Her and Scandalous, applying this to her crease and lower lash lines, then blended it out to create the dramatic shape. He finished off the look with Marc Jacobs New Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick in Eat Cake (£35), a rosy nude shade.
