This season's perfect skin is all about a matte complexion that still glows. Banish any thoughts of a shiny face and follow the lead on the catwalks for super flawless skin that's the ideal canvas for some of this autumn's more dramatic trends. To make it a little easier Lancome have just launched Colour Ideal Powder, (£24) which is a silky pressed powder with jaw-droppingly natural results.
The powder contains translucent fillers which enhance the luminosity of the skin and even out the skin tone. Expect a natural film of coverage that feels light on the face and hides any imperfections or discolouration. The product actually adapts to your skin tone, making it look like you have naturally perfect skin.
For my verdict on the powder, just read more.
I was impressed by the fineness of the texture and unlike many powders, this didn't dry out my skin. I used it on it's own to even the complexion but you can also use it to add this season's matte effect, over foundation. If you're playing around with metallic eye colours or glossy nude lips this autumn, I'd definitely recommend it to balance out your look.
