Regardless of which style of bob you choose — A-line, inverted, or an asymmetrical version of the cut — how you choose to style it can completely transform the final look. We reached out to hairstylist Linet Keshishian for some tips. Read them ahead.
Sleek and Straight
For a sexy, sleek look, whip out your straighteners. Be sure to spray your hair with plenty of heat protectant like the Chi 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray (£16) prior to styling.
"Once your hair is completely dry, use a flat iron to straighten small sections," Keshishian said. She recommends you go over each section two to three times to get it super smooth and and use a shine spray like It's A 10 Miracle Shine Spray (£27).
Beach Waves
Looking for a super easy, fast way to style your new cut? Go for the boho beach wave look. All you need is your hands and a few spritzes of a salt spray like the Captain Blankenship Mermaid Spray (£24). "As it air dries, twist pieces of your hair to create undone natural-looking waves," Keshishian said.
Flat Iron Waves
Your straighteners can do more than smooth out your hair — it can also create texture. "Take small sections and twist it away from face while pulling down on the iron," Keshishian said. When you reach the end of your hair, a curl will form and you can stretch and loosen it with your fingers for a wavy look.
