Define your curls and leave it down with a mix of leave-in products. Everyone's ideal curl cocktail is different, but Toth suggests mixing DevaCurl Styling Cream [6] (£21) and some Aussie Instant Freeze Gel [7] (£19). "You can scrunch it or twist sections of hair into smoother and thicker coils," he said.
Curly Bob in Half-Up Top Knot
Toth suggests the half-up top knot as a simple updo for short curly hair. "Just pull your hair up into a high ponytail on the top of your head and bring it through the elastic twice," he said. "On the second time through, bring your ponytail only halfway through, forming a knot. Then just pin the knot to your head."

Curly Bob With One Side Slicked Back
"Slicking one side back with a styling gel and securing it with a fun hair accessory is a really cool way to change up your curly bob hairstyle," he said. "I recommend brushing the gel back from your hairline to behind your ear with a boar bristle brush." Toth likes using the Giovanni L.A. Natural Styling Gel [8] (£13) and Harry Josh Brush [9] (£40) for this look.
Curly Bob Updo With Hair Accessories
"When all else fails, buy some cute accessories such as barrettes or headbands to tie back your hair and avoid humidity wrecking your curls," said Casamassima. "Tie up your curls in a loose bun." She suggests using Invisibobbles Hair Ties [10] (£4) to avoid creating dents in the hairstyle.
"If your curly bob is too short to tie up, you can also incorporate silk scarves or bandanas," she suggested. "When the humidity and heat rise and your curls start to grow, you can manage them easily and still look cute."
