After seeing the cherry eye trend all over Instagram, on the makeup shelves at my favourite store, and on celebrities on the red carpet, I was determined to find out how versatile the colour scheme really is on my skin tone. I checked out the reviews on Sephora's online community to choose my pink and purple tools and broke out my brushes to see how many looks I could come up with. I ultimately picked the Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette ($49) after noticing it had earned a Sephora Community Seal, for its great reviews, along with a few other palettes (so we sound less biased) that piqued my interest.
Over the course of a few days, I managed to create three different cherry eye looks that I can't get enough of. I'm praying that this juicy trend is here to stay now that I'm a true devotee.
