Today, Isle of Paradise launches its "Get Body Posi" campaign, making a global commitment to put body acceptance at the top of the beauty industry agenda. Isle of Paradise was the breakout self-tanning star of 2018, and, having amassed a global audience that is standing up and taking notice of this glow-giving product, founder Jules Von Hep is turning his attention to pushing body confidence with this campaign, fronted by Megan Barton Hanson, Tess Holliday, and Tess Daly.

"Get Body Posi" is for every body, with Von Hep acknowledging that the beauty industry plays an essential role in ensuring that body acceptance and representation become the cultural norm. "I believe in the life changing power that body acceptance can give YOU and have learnt this through my own experiences — finding every source of light in your darkest moments and gravitating towards this energy," Von Hep says in a press release for the campaign. "I have used some of the most life-altering experiences to inspire what Isle of Paradise means today, putting Get Body Posi at the heart." As part of the guide, he's built a free, downloadable guide centred around four key principles: acceptance, banishing comparison, finding what happy means to you, and bringing self-love every day.

Tess Daly is already a role model for many, and she is excited to be involved in this campaign, praising it as the antidote to the stereotypical advertisements that are constantly pushing ideal beauty standards. "Being invited to take part in this campaign challenged me to face my insecurities head on as I was putting myself in a situation where I would be relinquishing control over what people were to see of me. We all look completely different, but we all look beautiful in our OWN way."

Following her exit from Love Island in 2018, Megan faced intense scrutiny about her decision to undertake surgeries in the past, and she says she is working on not only accepting her flaws, but embracing them as one of her strengths. "Insecurity stems from us trying to achieve the unachievable, looking or dressing in a way that's trendy that month. Learning to focus and rock your own vibe is the most liberating thing any one of us can do," says Baron Hanson.

It goes without saying that we're on board with this initiative. Hell, we're on board with anything that improves people's sense of self-worth. If you'd like to get involved, you can download the "Get Body Posi" program now. To celebrate the launch, Isle of Paradise has pledged £25,000 to Mind Charity to help others take positive steps as well.
