The Rumours Are True: J Lo Will Launch a Makeup Line!
Let's get loud, because none other than the OG fly girl, "Jenny from the block" (that's right — Jennifer Lopez), is launching her own makeup collection. This Spring, the singer/dancer/actress/multihyphenate supreme will drop her first-ever collection, a limited-edition collab with Inglot. We're so excited that tonight we're gon' be it on the floor.
This capsule line will include 70 (!!!) products. In a press release sent to POPSUGAR, J Lo said, "We have everything from mascara, lipsticks, eyelashes, blush, eye shadow, and of course . . . bronzers."
There's a lot to choose from, but you also have the choice to get personal with the Freedom System Palette. According to J Lo, "This allows you to create your own personalised palette with the specific colours and products that you need. Now you no longer have to buy that five-piece eye shadow kit to get the one colour you really want!" (Wow, as a palette hoarder, I feel read like a book by that quote.)
We had an inkling the Shades of Blue star might have something up her sleeves back in February, when her makeup artist, Scott Barnes, leaked that she was working on a bronzer. In a now-deleted Instagram comment, Barnes wrote, "The Latin Queen is about to drop a bomb. She is making her own! #bronzer !!! (which definitely has a warm tone)."
Since J Lo's glow is pretty unparalleled, it's safe to say we're majorly psyched about this news. We've yet to receive information about each individual product, but everything will launch on April 26 online, in Inglot stores, and in select Macy's locations. Watch this space for more information!
