The Duchess of Cambridge's Hair Looked Better After Giving Birth Than My Best Hair Days Combined
In case you've been living under a rock or you lost your phone, we're elated to inform you that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child, a precious baby boy, on April 23. When the royal parents paraded outside of St. Mary's Hospital in London to show off the newest addition to their family, Kate look absolutely flawless — despite the fact that she had given birth merely hours earlier. Though her bright-red Jenny Packham dress certainly caught our eye, we couldn't help but focus on her impeccable hair and makeup.
Kate's hairstyle featured bouncy curls and a slightly deeper part than usual. Plus, her hair was looking especially voluminous in the back, and the wind managed to act as her personal fan as she posed for the cameras on the hospital steps. The duchess opted for her signature smoky eye and a muted lip colour, along with perfectly arched brows.
All together, she looked about 20 times better than I did on my university graduation day (aka my best hair day to date) and about one trillion times better than I likely will if I ever give birth, because I anticipate it being a no-makeup, messy-bun type of occasion.
