Kim Kardashian Tries '90s-Inspired Long Bob

Kim Kardashian Channels '90s Style Icons Like Christy Turlington and Courteney Cox With Her Latest Hairstyle

Kim Kardashian West is trying on another bob haircut for size. The star debuted a short crop back in May, and now she's switching it up with a slightly longer version with the ends curled under — a style that is both wearable and on trend with the '90s resurgence happening right now in fashion and beauty. She wore the hairstyle to the "Second Chance Hiring Initiative" event at the White House with Donald Trump, proving that the style is appropriate for both business and pleasure.

The style change comes courtesy of her longtime hairstylist, Chris Appleton, and we're getting serious '90s vibes thanks to the shoulder-grazing length and curled-under ends. Some of our favourite '90s style icons wore their long bobs like this — actors like Winona Ryder, Claire Danes, and Courteney Cox, and models like Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington, the latter of which served as Appleton's reference for Kardashian's look. "Who's in to this 90s Christie Turlington inspired bob I cut on @kimkardashian? Long or short?", he captioned his Instagram post of the style.

In addition to being on trend, Kardashian West's new style is also a great example how to expertly style your hair when you're growing out a bob — especially a blunt one. Curling the ends under as it grows out is a great way to play with the middle-of-the-road length, rather than just waving it with a curling iron all over or straightening it completely with a flatiron.

Kardashian shared the photo of her new hairstyle with the caption, "Can't wait for you to see #ComingSoon," hinting to a possible new collection or collaboration. And if she's selling anything to do with this long bob, sign us straight up.
