"Forgive the blurriness of this photo — this was back when film cameras were cool. One Halloween in college, there was a going out top I really wanted to wear that had a see-through strip down the middle. The problem was that I didn't know what I actually wanted to be while wearing it. The shirt was all-black, so the typical thing to do would just slap on cat ears and call it a day, but as previously mentioned, I was too cool. Instead, I sat very still with my neck back while my skilled friend used a Too Faced eye shadow palette to paint on a skeleton neck. This idea is great for someone who has a cute outfit planned that doesn't immediately call to mind any obvious costume.
