Taylor Swift just released her "You Need to Calm Down" music video and many members of the LGBTQ+ community starred in it alongside the star, including Laverne Cox who looked like a total bombshell, especially when it came to her hair.
Cox is best known for her role as Sophia Burset on Orange Is the New Black and has been an outspoken activist for the community. In Swift's video, Cox appears in full-glam with voluminous hair alongside many other notable members of the LGBTQ+ community like the men from Queer Eye, RuPaul, and Ellen Degeneres.
Cox's hairstylist Cesar DeLeon Ramirez revealed the secret for how he got the retro-sky-high hair. The clever trick was using two custom Wildform wigs; one to frame Cox's face and the other to build volume at the crown. Ramirez then used a trio of Unite hair products to keep the look in place.
