Taylor Swift [1] just released her "You Need to Calm Down" music video [2] and many members of the LGBTQ+ community starred in it alongside the star, including Laverne Cox who looked like a total bombshell, especially when it came to her hair.

Cox is best known for her role as Sophia Burset [3] on Orange Is the New Black [4] and has been an outspoken activist for the community. In Swift's video, Cox appears in full-glam with voluminous hair alongside many other notable members of the LGBTQ+ community like the men from Queer Eye [5], RuPaul, and Ellen Degeneres [6].

Cox's hairstylist Cesar DeLeon Ramirez [7] revealed the secret for how he got the retro-sky-high hair. The clever trick was using two custom Wildform wigs [8]; one to frame Cox's face and the other to build volume at the crown. Ramirez then used a trio of Unite hair products to keep the look in place.
