"Cutting curly hair when it's dry helps the stylist see where the curl naturally springs and falls to avoid cutting a layer too short."

Linet suggests investing in a great leave-in conditioner and making sure to only dry your hair with a diffuser [3]. "The diffuser will help keep the curls frizz free with a beautiful bounce," Linet explained. Keeping frizz at bay will also ensure your curls stay looking their best. Use a hydrating mask once a week to keep them soft and defined, and only brush through them with a wide tooth comb and plenty of detangler spray while they're still wet.
