Elon Musk might have sent his car to the moon [2], but now we can at least pretend we're chilling in the stratosphere thanks to Make Up For Ever [3]'s brand-new galaxy-inspired palette. This release is right in line with the celestial trend we've been seeing across a number of brands — for example, BH Cosmetics' Zodiac Palette [4] and Fenty Beauty's Galaxy collection [5]. The Star Lit Glitter Palette is dropping from the heavens on Feb. 8!

The palette contains six "sparkling prismatic" shades that catch the light: Reflection (an iridescent silvery white), Spark (a creamy champagne), Flicker (a rose gold), Prism (pinkish mauve), Flare (bronze), and Beam (ultraviolet).

We're talking dizzying levels of sparkle here, people. Check out the swatches in motion:

Insane, right? There are already a couple of Instagram makeup artists showcasing the colors, and it looks like you're going to be able to do some seriously cool stuff with this palette. We definitely can't wait to get our hands on this one!
