Since it's always fun to find new ways to get the most from your makeup, I thought you'd like to find a way to put your favourite eye shadow that fell on the floor or in the sink and broke to good use. This DIY makeup recipe is fun, easy and practical!
Begin by cleaning out an old loose powder container with soap and water and drying it thoroughly. Then, take a pinch of powder eye shadow (either loose shadow, broken powder shadow, or simply take a piece from a pressed compact or pan) and mix it together with a few dollops of clear lip gloss, lip balm or salve. Stir it together well, until all of the lumps are out, adding more pigment until you reach your desired texture. Apply with a brush or your finger.
Tip: If you'd like the product to be more solid, use a balm instead of a lip gloss and store it the refrigerator. Check out even more of my useful beauty tips here, and for additional photos of products you can use to create your own cream shadows, read more.
