'70s Jet-Set Babes Backstage at Matthew Williamson Spring 2014
Matthew Williamson's show had a distinct '70s vibe, so it's no surprise that Lisa Eldridge and the Benefit team opted for a look inspired by the era to match those retro-tinged clothes. The look was described as "'70s jet set", and focussed on perfect dewy skin (created using Hello Flawless (£23)) with heavily contoured cheeks and eyes, and full, bushy eyebrows (they were backcombed for volume). Highlighter and cream products kept skin from looking flat — in fact, two of the three eyeshadow shades used on the lids, My Two Cents and No Pressure (£16 each) were also buffed onto the cheeks, with Hoola (£21) bronzer layered over the top for extra definition. Simple, side-parted hair finished the laid-back look.
