Meghan opted to echo the colour she wore for her engagement photos ensuring not to distract attention away from her dazzling ring, and choosing a shade that is royal family approved. As royal protocol states, women must have clean, groomed nails with no bright colours or nail art allowed (although Princess Eugenie has broken this rule in favour of some patriotic nail art).
Meghan might have even opted for the same colour Queen Elizabeth II has worn for 29 years. Essie's Ballet Slippers, a sheer pink, is a favourite among the royal family.
