You'd be forgiven to mistake Millie Bobby Brown's latest hair and makeup look for one fresh off the runway. The sky-high ponytail and pretty-pink draping were a match made in beauty heaven. She might only be 15, but she certainly knows her way around colourful makeup and sophisticated hairstyles.

For the premiere of Godzilla: King of the Monsters in Beijing, Brown complemented her floral Valentino gown with matching pink makeup tones and a swingy ponytail. For the makeup, Kelsey Deenihan applied bubblegum-pink eye shadow across Brown's lids, taking it all the way down onto the cheeks and up along her temples. Deenihan finished the rosy look with a strawberry-coloured lip shade.

As for the pony, hairstylist Adir Abergel's inspiration was a "high, '60s-style ponytail that had bounce and movement" with an added ombré element to the ends of the ponytail to give it a modern feel. Keep reading to get all the details on Brown's Godzilla premiere look.

Makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan kept her skin fresh with a wash of bubblegum-coloured eye shadow and a touch of sparkle on the inner corners of her eyes. Matching pink blush was taken right up toward her temples, paired with a coral-pink glossy lip.

Hairstylist Adir Abergel took inspiration from '60s hairstyles but gave it a thoroughly modern twist thanks to the addition of ombré hair extensions. To create the swingy ponytail, he started by separating the very front section of her hair and clipping it away. Then, he applied Virtue Unfrizz Cream (£19) and pulled the rest of her hair into a high ponytail. Up next, he wrapped ombré-coloured extensions around the base of Brown's natural ponytail (a step he said you can skip if you have long enough hair). Taking a large-barrel iron, he curled the entire ponytail, brushing the waves through once he was done to make the hair bouncy and shiny. He finished the look with more Virtue Unfrizz Cream on the front section, which he then wrapped over the side of the ponytail and secured at the base with bobby pins. A final spritz of Kristen Ess hairspray (£20) held the style in place.
