New Dove Beauty Advert

How Would You Describe Your Own Beauty?

The new Dove Real Beauty Sketches campaign is designed to make women think about their own beauty. Apparently, only 4 percent of women actually consider themselves beautiful which I find shocking ... and sad. Women were asked to sit behind a curtain whilst FBI forensic artist Gil Zamora sketched them, based on the verbal descriptions of themselves. The twist is that the women were paired up with strangers beforehand, and those strangers gave Gil another description of the women.

The result are two drawings based on self perception, and the perception of others. Just watch and see which sketches are more beautiful. Hopefully, it makes you reconsider how you judge your personal beauty. The intent is to boost self confidence and become more aware of yourselves. I think you're all beautiful — I just hope that you do too!
