Nyma Tang of The Darkest Shade Vlog Is Creating a "Dream Red" Lipstick With MAC
Nyma Tang, the stunning beauty behind The Darkest Shade series on YouTube, excitedly revealed via Instagram that she is creating what she calls her "dream red lipstick" with MAC. In her a picture posted to her Instagram, Tang wore a lab coat and held up a beaker full of red pigment. We'll have to wait and see if the fiery red lip that she has on in the image is anything close to what she comes up with. If so, it could be the Summer staple for dark brown skin.
Tang is a makeup hero of sorts, particularly for women of colour, who constantly struggle to find makeup that complements their rich complexions. On her channel, Tang tries out the deepest foundation and concealer shades against her dark chocolate skin, and offers honest reviews on which ones work — or don't. It's super helpful (and needed!), so this news is pretty exciting.
Tang is clearly in the clouds about the collaboration as well. "You guys!!!! I'm creating my own custom lipstick shade with @maccosmetics (I can't believe I'm even saying that right now!!)," she wrote in her Instagram post. She went on to say that she never dreamed that this could happen and that she can't wait to share her shade with her fans.
