The '20s are back in a modern version at Osman. Waists are either corseted or dropped, and the shapes are somehow both drapey and structured. It is evident that the Osman woman is groomed, well traveled, and takes pride in her appearance. The vivid pastels and burnt red colours in this collection are incredible as is the precise attention to detail. An Osman piece would definitely be worth investing in.
Hair and makeup did not go without attention, too. Shon, the lead stylist for John Frieda prepped hair with John Frieda Luxurious Volume Mousse and Frizz Ease Shape and Shine Hairspray to create a wet look on top. Then, he combed hair into a low ponytail and pushed it up to create volume at the back of the crown. The ponytail was also given a bit of tonging, so that it wasn't stick straight through the lengths. Makeup was quite natural with a bit of jazzy silver shadow on the eyes and a rose lip. My favourite looks from the show are the black and white ensembles with fringe. What are yours?
