Remember to Prime
"Applying the right foundation is very important. The proper products ensure hold, shine, and longevity for any style," said hairstylist Sarah Lund. Bring Backup

Skip the Wash
"Don't wash your hair," said editorial hairstylist Chuck Bass. "Second-day hair lasts better." That's because second-day hair, with its oils and grit, gives better grip to a style.
Keep Your Hands Off
To prevent your look from falling flat, Bass suggested you avoid touching your hair with your hands — the oils and moisture on them can break down the style.
