It's only been two months since legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath [1] launched her cosmetics line at Selfridges in the UK, and she's already giving us new beauty goodies to drool over. Today, mother (as her fans affectionately call her) dropped nine new shades of Pat McGrath Labs BlitzTrance Lipstick [2], her satiny lipstick formula that's full of the most finely milled glitter you've ever seen. "Full-coverage, couture-crème shades" is how McGrath describes them on her Instagram, and after swiping on a few, we can confirm that the formula is indeed highly pigmented and feels incredibly luxurious.
The smattering of sparkle in the bullet gives the lipstick a metallic finish, making it a great way to try the bold look without foil appliqués or messy loose shimmer. You can swipe straight on bare lips or layer them over your favourite neutral lip liner for even longer staying power and richness.
The nine shades include plenty of pretty shimmery neutrals, like Naked Kiss, a peachy-beige colour with a golden sheen, and Skin Flixx, a medium warm rose with gold glitter flecks. There are also a few deeper ones like Blood Rush, a classic cherry red with gold shimmer, and Love Train, a plum hue with 24-carat reflect. The new Pat McGrath Labs BlitzTrance Lipstick shades are available starting June 14 both in-store and online at Selfridges [3], where you can also experience the products through one of four beauty services [4] offered at the Pat McGrath Labs counter.
