Felder Felder's Girls Master the Bob and Flick
With a heavy emphasis on texture dominating the clothing at Felder Felder's London Fashion Week show this morning, it's no surprise that the beauty look followed suit. GHD Creative Director Kenna created a hairstyle that echoed the contrasting textures in the clothes. The front sections of the hair were straightened, parted deep on one side, and swept behind the ears and down to the nape of the neck, with plenty of product from ear level for a slick finish. The rest of the hair had a straight but fluffy texture that softened the final look, and any model with hair that fell past the shoulders had her hair pulled back into the loosest of fluffed-up ponytails, giving the impression than all the girls had a swingy, grown-out bob.
Makeup-wise, the look focussed on the eyes, with an orange-brown shade applied in a cat-eye shape along the crease, rather than the lid. Cheeks were glossy with highlighter and contoured with matte bronzer, and lips were a soft orange. Nail expert Ami Streets opted for a half-moon manicure, painting a blood-red moon onto nude nails for a quick catwalk look any of us can copy!
